Contacting Studios

At first I was going to go all out and just ask to come and visit a studio. I then decided that I wanted to create a dialogue with anyone that I am going to visit before I go, by doing this I would then have more of an insight into their design practice and something to talk about when I go. Consequently, am going to send out pdf emails in various colour using this format....

InPress Business Cards

These are my InPress business cards. We had them letterpressed onto 560gsm GF Smith bright white stock. We ordered them from the print project and spoke to a lovely guy called Nick....

We have left the other side black and are ordering a stamp to print onto the front...

To save money we have decided to use the same sized stamp (smaller one for £14.95) for both the business cards and the prints.

Putting my work on Tumblr

I have meaning to do this for a while, but today I finally sat down and put my work on my tumblr page....

this made me realise how much work I have done and how much I have progressed over the passed two years. Excellent.

InPress second event

After much interest and successful first event, we have decided to run another event. We are going to have this at the Library Pub again as we able to get this space for free. We are going to hold the event on 4th June. These are the promotional flyer we will post around college and email to all students; we will also advertise through InPress Facebook and Twitter sites. Leeds College of Art marketing team have also said that they will help promote the event through their Facebook and Twitter sites too....

We all signed these coloured flyers and they are going to be given away with our designs in the bags we are providing.

InPress Second Event Printed Designs

I attempted to get a gradient on these designs but it didn't work, so I had a little fun with them and got creative with the colour. I really like these as each design is different and no one print is the same. These will be sold for £1 each. I am keeping the price low as I want people to buy them and I have created a large range of these prints.

InPress event2: my designs

I have kept with the geometric theme and produced designs which will allow me to use maximum colour. I want to screen print these designs with a gradient, leaving the design the same colour as the stock....
