Communication as a Virus....Crit Feedback.

Today we had a group crit with Amber and Jo in which we presented our idea for this project. Our initial proposal was to redesign 5 short stories making them more appealing to our target audience in order to make them read more. This was not taken well by them, as they thought we were playing it 'too safe' and as Jo stated, we will most likely be restricted to this type of design later in our careers, so go out and have fun ...which I totally agreed with! This made us look at the project in a whole different light; taking the term 'reading' much more lightly and not instantly diverging to books. We have now decided to look at placing text in locations where people are likely to read it without realising; this way we are inadvertently making people read due to the curious nature of our work. Now have some fun with this........
