Today Catalogue came into the studio to chat and show off their work. The boys were interestingly witty and provided us with some sound advice in relation to getting your work into the real world, especially considering they had studied on this exact course themselves.

Here are the notes I took on the advice they gave us....

//Go freelance ..no emergency flyers

//Don't work for a big corporate company ...just get given the s**t jobs

//You are fresh creatives from university ...work in a small studio (clients see your work and come to you)

//Don't do 'boring' work ...people only remember you by this and associate you with it

//Find a good studio space (not bedroom) ..helps you focus

//Invest money ...good results
